Terms of Service
These terms govern access to Trueonic websites, SDKs, APIs and investigation tools. By creating a workspace or using the service, you agree to them on behalf of your organization.
Effective August 4, 2026
1. Accounts and authority
You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure and promptly report unauthorized access. If you use Trueonic for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these terms.
2. Permitted use
You may use Trueonic to evaluate identity and fraud risk for products you own or are authorized to protect. You are responsible for your integration, notices, consent requirements, decision policies and compliance with laws that apply to profiling or automated decisions.
3. Prohibited use
You may not probe or disrupt the service, bypass access controls, submit unlawful data, resell access without permission, reverse engineer protected components, or use risk intelligence to discriminate unlawfully. Production secret keys must never be embedded in client applications.
4. Customer data
You retain ownership of data you submit. You grant Trueonic the limited rights necessary to host, process, secure and return that data as part of the service. You must have the rights and lawful basis required to submit it.
5. Service changes and availability
We may improve or change the service while seeking to preserve materially equivalent functionality. Beta, sandbox and evaluation features may change and are not intended as the sole basis for irreversible production decisions.
6. Fees and taxes
Paid plans, usage limits and payment terms are governed by the applicable order form or checkout terms. Fees exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. Failure to pay may result in suspension after reasonable notice.
7. Confidentiality and security
Each party will protect the other party’s confidential information with reasonable care and use it only for the relationship. Trueonic maintains technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service.
8. Suspension and termination
Either party may terminate according to an order form or applicable plan. We may suspend access to prevent material security harm, unlawful activity or continued breach. Export data before termination where the service provides that capability.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Except as expressly agreed in writing, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. Fraud risk signals are probabilistic and require customer-defined controls and human review where appropriate. Liability limits and governing law should be specified in the applicable commercial agreement.
